Long story short, we met attending a community college in our hometown. Scott was my math tutor, and I decided he might be good to keep around for more than numbers. We moved to our current town to attend university. We ended up building our life in this small, Appalachian arts town and decided we wanted to stay. We married in a tiny chapel in 2016 and welcomed our daughter, Beatrix during the craziness of 2020. Ours is a multigenerational home, my parents live with us and are the perfect babysitters. Scott is pursuing arts, while I am a writer, freelance journalist and professional communicator. Together, we share adventures, including travel, living our best life and our attempts at urban homesteading. Our story is about being incredibly different, supporting each other, following dreams and chasing grace. We hope you enjoy our little online space.
